For every task accomplished, 10 points were added. Another 20 points were added for those who made it to the end before the day ended. In total, this was worth 90 points. The first team to get to the pit stop won an exemption for the pair. This clue referred to the cemetery. There, they met a detour. The first task was for the team to mourn 3 tombstones.

As long as all 3 were real dead Sims, the team would have successfully completed the detour and would be given the next clue. If not, they were given 2 more chances before proceeding on, or they would incur a 30 minute penalty.

The other task was to explore the catacombs and search for the clue. This clue referred to the park, which was turned into a festival ground.

There was a roadblock there. One team member had to ride and conquer the rodeo bull. Christopher Steel made an appearance here as a host. For anyone who fished with him, a hidden exemption would be awarded. Everyone completed the mission in time. Helen Hall and Charlie Ray Buckshot took the lead early on and went on the clinch the exemption. Only Tom Wordy and Imogen Pelly completed the detour. Amy Bull received the hidden exemption for fishing with Christopher. The mission appeared again in Season 11 , Episode 9.

It was called Amazing Race Leg 2. Contestants played in their existing groups except for Prissy Chrissy and Lora Alsee who paired up. A leg was originally designed for Argentina , but dropped due to the country's financial crisis. This chart shows each teams ranking per leg according to their official check in at the Pit Stop. However, time penalties issued before the start of the next leg due to improperly performed tasks are not reflected here. Instead of being allowed to complete all tasks left in the leg, they were each instructed to go directly to the Pit Stop for elimination.
